The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller shares a similar design with its cousin, the Submariner, featuring an all-steel finish and a black dial and bezel. Unlike the Submariner, however, it boasts an incredible depth rating of up to 4,000 feet, thanks to a helium escape valve in the case. The ref. 16600 also includes many desirable features for dive watches, such as a luminescent display, a unidirectional chronometer bezel topped with a 60-minute diving scale, and the high-frequency caliber 3135 perpetual movement. The ref. 16600 also features a 40 mm case and a sapphire crystal without the usual Cyclops lens above the date, all highly desirable features of the Sea-Dweller line.
